I'm at work, and I'm about to boil.

It's so nice weather today :D After our rather wet spell it's lovely to come back to, but I either have the window open and blinds open to get air whilst roasting from the effects of the sun shining in - or I close the blinds and suffer the heat which lets me play youtube videos when no-one else is in :P You know me - I picked youtube XD

It's been a really slow today. Reallllly slow - done about 6 orders and a couplke of invoices. It really isn't enough to justify a 7.5 hour day. I've scored a ridculous number of YYB goals today - 400 or something silly like that. But it's relaxing I suppose, and I am getting paid.

I had the most lovely weekend :) Me, Rach, Cait, Steven, Fiona and Shaun all went to Edinburgh for a trip. Woke up uber early on Saturday and picked everyone (and luggage!) in our Land Rover, and drove up to the train station. We were getting the HUGE London Train (Seriously, it has Carriages A-L and usually they only have A, B and C) so found two tables next to each other. A whole group turned up and decided to claim the seats, so we wandered down the train to F, where we gave up and decided we'd just have to sit in our allocated seats. They were all spread out though. Rachael's was in G so she went through, and came running back yelling at us all to hurry into G, where there were two tables! Had a nice journey down in all I suppose:D

When we got there we decided that carrying various bags/sleeping bags/suitcases about just wasn't going to happen, so we would "pop" back to Steven's Bro's flat (Where we were staying the night) to dump our stuff! He underestimated the distance to it when talking to me though - it was a good long walk! With everyone else moaning cos they had bigger bags, and Fiona complaining that we could have staying in her sis's flat which was a lot closer. Anyway - got there and then everyone decided it'd be good to walk back into the centre again. So we went walking back in and it didn't seem HALF as long on the way back - Whoop! Had lunch at a wee place and then everyone else went to the Museum whilst I went to a Guide Media Training thing (Steven walked me there the gentleman he is :)). It was better than I expected, but still a bit strange. They were basically preparing the 5 of us to be on TV to advertise Guiding during the Centenary. There were different "themed" questions and I was surprised how confidently we all answered them. I'm now on a list of people trained to speak about Guiding on TV - maybe I'll get a chance this coming year!

Then I wandered back to the Museum to meet the others. Not sure how much they enjoyed it - they looked either bored or tired when I met them XD None of them complained though so I'm assuming they enjoyed it! Then it was DUNGEON TIME! :D The dungeons were superb! They'd changed the order since last time and added a couple of new things so it felt like my first time at it again. Me/Rach/Cait/Fiona went around the whole thing clutching each other and screaming, it was so fun!

We were going to just go back and make dinner when we finished, but we stopped off at the Meadow's (Big park) and ended up staying for ages. I was so amazingly relaxed <3 We lay and chatted for a bit, mucked around on the kiddies playpark and took lots of pictures - some of which I actually like :o One of my favourite things about the trip indeed.

We popped into Tesco on the way home and me and Steven did the shopping for dinner and got stuff for dinner and breakfast. When we got back to the flat me and Rachael lazed about whilst the others made dinner, and then we had a lovely dinner of cheesy pasta and garlic break in the flat together. Rachael and I washed up to make up for our laziness earlier on, and we all snuggled down to watch The Shining. I'm not a horror person myself, and fell asleep! In fact, I think there was only two people awake by the time the film finished. Then we sat and Truth/Dare/Chatted about anything and everything. Twas good, we ended up having a "What do you like best about everyone" thing which just made us all feel really good before going to bed!

We snuggled down to bed, me and Steven sharing his cuddly big duvet XD i had a nice sleep, and we woke up about 9.15am in the morning. Steven and I got up and made breakfast (with Cait helping me when I failed!). We had Eggy Bread (French Toast to you poshies out there :P) and Steven made Porridge. Did the dishes, got changed, did my hair and we headed to get a bus up to Waverly station.

The original plan was to use luggage lockers at Waverly, but it turns out they only have an "Excess baggage Company" which charges £7 an item for storage. Considering we all had bags, and sleeping bags, that was just ridiculous. We all decided we'd just carry our stuff when we went to Dynamic Earth. We set off on foot, and got to the Taxi Rank before giving in and getting a taxi XD It was only £6 so split between the 6 of us was well worth it. When we got to Dynamic Earth I asked the uy if there was any form of luggage storage, and he said we could use their own cloakroom! YAY! I was happy ^-^

Dynamic Earth was surprisingly good. I was expecting "Ya-da Ya-da Big Bang, Humans from Chimps" etc etc all the way through, but after we got over the initial "Big Bang Elevator" it was way more Geography Related. The coolest (LOL - read on and you'll see why i laugh XD) thing was a Polar Section, which had this gorgeous chunk of ice in the middle of it. The room wasn't that much cooler than the surrounding rooms, so it amazed us!

Ah! I loved the gift shop! It had all these geography related things, and MAPS! I bought these amazing postcards (Which I'm not gonna talk about since Janine's waiting for one in the post :P) and another map for my ceiling of the World at Night!

We then took a taxi back to Waverly and all sat about and had some food, since we hadn't had lunch and weren't going to have dinner! We must have looked quite a site in the Station - 6 teenagers with a HUGE amount of luggage all sitting there for hours XD Then the train came and we got on, and found seats right up in carriage C which were sort of near each other.

The train was another favourite bit :) We were just really relaxed - Steven ended up coming over to the girls table when Shaun fell asleep so I ended up sitting on the floor (I love sitting on the floor XD) leaning on his knee XD Twas just so lovely and relaxed and just...

Ah.... *happy*
